Throughout 2025, the choices custom home buyers made revealed clear patterns in what matters most for luxury living. Inspired by Spotify Wrapped, we’re looking back at the top trends that shaped the year for AR Homes® buyers.
Spotify Wrapped is the annual recap Spotify gives its listeners. It highlights each person’s most-played songs, artists, and habits in a fun, data-driven format. We’re using that same idea to highlight the top floor plans, elevation styles, and locations of 2025. These insights show how homeowners approach building a custom home that supports their lifestyle, routines, and long-term goals.
Among those choices, certain floor plans consistently emerged as favorites. The Vizcaya, Bella Vista, Taura, Foster, and Kingston II were the most requested overall, while newer plans including Kingston II, Shearwater II, Beechwood, Milan lII, and Hightower quickly gained attention. Each plan provides a foundation that homeowners personalize to fit their routines, expand key living areas, and adapt spaces to match the way they move through the home. Their popularity reflects how these layouts combine functionality, comfort, and versatility in ways that resonate with a wide range of lifestyles.
Those same priorities showed up in the top elevation styles customers selected. Transitional, Modern, Mediterranean, West Indies, and Traditional designs each brought something different to the building process. Modern homes appealed to those wanting clean lines and open flow, while Mediterranean and Traditional brought a sense of character and warmth. Transitional rose to the top for buyers who wanted a look that felt both stylish and timeless. Style played a role in more than appearance. It influenced how light carried through each room, how indoor and outdoor spaces connected, and how the home performed over time.
Top locations this year illustrate similar priorities. In Florida, Sarasota, Tampa, Lake City, Fernandina Beach, Vero Beach, and St. Augustine saw the most activity. Bluffton and Myrtle Beach led in South Carolina, while Davidson, Arden, and Wake Forest drew interest in North Carolina. Zionsville and Westfield were favorites in Indiana, and Lenoir City and Gainesville stood out in Tennessee and Georgia. Buyers selected locations that offered convenience, natural surroundings, and neighborhood character aligned with their daily lives.
The homebuyer choices made across floor plans, elevation styles, and locations demonstrate a preference for homes that support comfort, personalization, clarity, and long-term value. Wrapped in the same spirit as the playlists people revisit at the end of each year, these insights offer a look at how AR Homes® customers shaped their homes in 2025 and how future buyers can find inspiration in the decisions that resonated most.
