As Owner and President of AR Homes® Charlotte (Paragon Homes of Charlotte), Mitch Genda brings decades of homebuilding experience across both custom and large-scale residential construction. Since founding the company in 2010, he has led its partnership with AR Homes®, combining local, relationship-driven service with the resources, design excellence, and proven processes of a nationally recognized luxury homebuilder. Known for his leadership and commitment to quality, Mitch has helped shape an award-winning team dedicated to delivering exceptional custom homes and client experiences in the Charlotte market.

Christopher is dedicated to guiding each client through the thoughtful planning and design of their custom home, ensuring every detail inside and out, reflects their vision and lifestyle. With decades of knowledge in the luxury custom home building world, he brings deep industry, knowledge, strong, market, insight, and a steady, client-first approach to every project. Throughout his career, Christopher has consistently been recognized for excellence and sales performance, including multiple placements in the AR Homes Top Club and prior recognition and the platinum tier of Charlotte Sales and Marketing Council.  His commitment to professionalism, communication, and attention to detail makes him a trusted partner for clients building their dream home.

Shelby serves as a trusted guide throughout the custom homebuilding journey, helping clients confidently navigate the process from their very first conversation. With a background in financial services consulting, residential real estate, and nearly three decades in the Charlotte market, she is passionate about understanding each client’s vision and connecting them with the expertise and resources needed to bring it to life. In addition to client engagement, Shelby leads marketing, business development, and community outreach initiatives that strengthen partnerships and elevate the AR Homes® brand throughout the Charlotte region. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, traveling, spending time outdoors, and supporting her daughter in dance and cheer.

Kurt is a licensed North Carolina General Contractor and member of the North Carolina Home Builders’ Association with nearly 30 years of industry experience. Since joining Paragon Homes of Charlotte in 2011, he has helped build hundreds of homes throughout the Charlotte region. Known for his craftsmanship, integrity, and approachable nature, Kurt has earned the trust and respect of clients and colleagues alike. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, their two grown children, and his first grandchild.

David was born in Florida where he grew up and then moved to Alaska. Enjoying Camping, fishing and hiking. Working at a young age manufacturing surveying stakes for the Alaska pipeline. Then settling down to N.C. and getting married. With over 38 years of experience in Commercial and residential building. With an eye for detail and the drive to make sure all his customers are very happy with their projects!

David spends all his extra time with his family and loves Camping, Hiking, Golf and Cycling. Campfires and sunsets are the best for winding down.

Luke is a licensed general contractor with a bachelor’s degree in Building Science from Appalachian State University. Passionate about bringing each client’s vision to life, he combines technical expertise with clear communication and a commitment to quality craftsmanship to create homes that reflect each homeowner’s lifestyle and long-term goals. Known for his approachable nature and strong work ethic, Luke values building lasting relationships as much as the homes he helps create. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, hiking, golfing, and exploring the outdoors.

Sarah has spent most of her life in the Charlotte area, gaining experience in nearly every corner of the building and design industry throughout her career. Ultimately, she discovered her true passion in custom home building and design. Sarah has thoughtfully curated our design studio to provide exceptional support to our homebuyers during the selection process and collaborates closely with our lead designer to guarantee an outstanding experience for each client. In her free time, she enjoys game nights and cherishes the moments she shares with her rescue dogs.

Alisha is an experienced interior designer with a background in real estate, production homes, and custom home building. She specializes in creating timeless, elegant spaces that balance beauty and functionality, guiding clients from concept through completion. With expertise in interior and exterior design, as well as furniture selections, Alisha is known for her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to bring each client’s unique vision to life.

Jennifer has been in the construction industry for over 25 years. Employed with Paragon Homes of Charlotte since 2012, the experience she has gained in project management, purchasing and accounting has led to her success and growth within the company. Jennifer is an active member of several industry organizations, including The Home Builders Association of Charlotte, The Charlotte Women’s Leadership Summit and The HBAGC Professional Women in Building Council. Residing in Tega Cay, SC, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, her two adult sons and is thankful for the benefits of a lake living lifestyle.

Jon has lived from coast to coast.  Born in Southern California, he moved to western Tennessee in his teens, finally making it to the greater Charlotte area in 2012 while relocating for work.  He has worked in the consumer manufacturing industry for such companies as Tyco International, Stanley Black & Decker, Trane Technologies, Ingersoll Rand and Electrolux. Throughout his career he has been responsible for sourcing components, equipment and services as well as finished products.  He is driven by the concept of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost(SQDC). His goal for each project is to effectively and efficiently manage the procurement function, deliver superior quality materials and services to the job, on time and achieve the best overall value while exceeding the expectations of the business and in turn our homeowners.

Growing up in Virginia, William has developed a deep appreciation for both the beauty and functionality of design in the built environment. With over 23 years of experience in the Drafting and Design field, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in both residential and commercial construction. Throughout his career, William has worked on a diverse range of projects, collaborating with architects, builders, and clients to bring dreams to life. His proficiency in various drafting software and design techniques ensures that each project is not only visually compelling but also structurally sound.
