Doug’s lifelong love of craftsmanship was inspired by stories of his grandfather’s life’s work. This passion led Doug to BYU’s Construction Management Program where he graduated top of his class, inspiring a career in homebuilding. Doug served as President and CFO of a regional homebuilder in Florida, and now brings his refined artistry and joy for creating custom homes to his luxury AR Homes® clients.

With a unique background in health and wellness, Deb has a deep understanding of client lifestyles, and brings her instinctual knowledge to best serve her custom home clients in Beaufort and Jasper counties. An active member of several charities and industry organizations, including Berkeley Hall Charitable Organization, WHOLives.org, former Home Builders Association Board of Directors, and a founding member of the Hilton Head Professional Women in Building Council in South Carolina, Deb exudes a passion for people that can be felt far beyond the homebuilding experience.

Patrick Whitmore is the Vice President of Operations at Blue Ocean Luxury Homes, LLC, where he brings decades of experience in residential construction and business management. Growing up in a family-owned home building business, Patrick learned the value of hard work early, starting as a teenager with hands-on construction roles that shaped his career. After the 2009 market crash, Patrick launched his own construction partnership, overseeing every phase of home building with a hands-on approach. In 2014, he and his family relocated to Savannah, GA, seeking new opportunities. Patrick joined Blue Ocean Luxury Homes/AR Homes in 2015 as a Project Manager, where he quickly mastered AR Homes’ systems and processes. His passion for operational efficiency led to a role at the AR Homes corporate office as a Corporate Trainer, traveling nationwide to assist franchises with proprietary systems and best practices. In 2021, Patrick rejoined Blue Ocean Luxury Homes as VP of Operations, equipped with enhanced expertise in leadership, systems development, and operational strategy. 

As the Director of Sales and Marketing with eight years of experience in the Low-country, Rhett brings a passion for connecting people with their aspirations. Known for a dedication to understanding clients’ needs and turning visions into realities, Rhett has built a reputation as a trusted professional in the industry. Outside of work, he values quality time with his wife and kids, enjoys playing music, and stays active through regular exercise. With a commitment to personal and professional growth, Rhett continually seeks new ways to inspire and engage those around him.

Jordan brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to AR Homes, having lived in diverse regions across the United States, including Massachusetts, Utah, California, and now South Carolina. A proud graduate of Southern Utah University with a Master’s in Public Administration, Jordan combines academic excellence with a passion for building strong, connected communities. A lifelong sports enthusiast and avid basketball player, Jordan thrives on teamwork and tackling new challenges. When not working, he enjoys staying active, spending time with his lovely wife and two young children, while soaking up the relaxed Lowcountry lifestyle of South Carolina.  

Born and raised in the beautiful Lowcountry, I spent 14 fulfilling years in healthcare, where taking care of people brought me immense joy. However, balancing a demanding schedule with my desire to spend more time with my children led me to pursue another passion. Drawing on my background in marketing and design, I transitioned into a role that continues to fulfill my love for helping people in meaningful ways. I am now part of the incredible team at AR Homes, where I bring extensive experience in marketing and relationship-building. I guide our team in showcasing the beauty and craftsmanship of our homes, while also connecting with families who are building their dream homes. This role fills my heart just as healthcare did, allowing me to cultivate personal relationships and share in some of life’s most special moments. My goal is not just to promote our exceptional home-building company, but to be a part of each client’s journey — understanding their vision, celebrating their milestones, and helping turn their dream homes into reality. 

Mary Jo Whitmore is the Purchasing Manager at Blue Ocean Luxury Homes, LLC, where she brings extensive experience in residential construction to streamline purchasing operations and drive company success. She joined the AR Team in February 2022 as a Project Manager, marking a meaningful milestone as she began working alongside her husband, Patrick—a partnership that began in 2001 when Patrick built her first home. Before moving to Savannah, GA, in 2014, Mary Jo spent a decade working with Patrick in their West Virginia construction business, gaining hands-on industry expertise. Their move to the Lowcountry was motivated by a desire to raise their two daughters in a charming coastal community. Mary Jo values hard work, teamwork, and honesty, and is passionate about inspiring and encouraging others. Outside work, she enjoys time with her family, exploring arts and culture, and engaging in community service, from volunteering at church to donating blood. With a deep-rooted passion for residential construction, Mary Jo remains dedicated to growing within the industry and building meaningful connections both personally and professionally. 

Born and raised in the picturesque mountains of California, I grew up immersed in a vibrant and diverse culture. After spending 20 wonderful years in Oklahoma raising a family and building a career in home construction, I discovered a love for the Lowcountry while vacationing here. Now, having called the Lowcountry home for the past 2.5 years, I bring 17 years of experience across all aspects of residential construction. My passion lies in helping customers bring their visions to life, transforming ideas from paper into stunning forever homes. 

With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Leslie brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to the team. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the building trade, she has always been surrounded by the craft of construction, which sparked a lifelong interest in the design and building process. From dreaming up designs alongside Homeowners to seeing them come to life, Leslie enjoys every step of the “cradle to grave” journey. After spending 7 years in the accounting field from 2014 to 2021, Leslie transitioned to production for the past three years, gaining hands-on experience in the process. This experience has now brought her back to financial operations in 2024, where she can bridge the gap between the creative and financial aspects of the business. Originally from Vero Beach, Florida, Leslie moved to the Lowcountry in 2013 and married her sweetheart in 2016. The couple has two beautiful daughters, Parker and Hazel, and is expecting another little girl, Georgia, in March 2025. Their home is always lively, with two cats and four huskies keeping everyone on their toes. In her downtime, Leslie takes full advantage of the area’s year-round summer weather. Whether it’s tackling small home improvement projects or simply enjoying time outdoors, there’s always something keeping her.

With over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, I bring a diverse skill set that spans drywall, painting, and office management. After years of hands-on work, I transitioned into my current role as Warranty Manager at AR Homes, where I’ve proudly served for the past three years. I’m passionate about the work I do and the incredible team I’m a part of. As a bilingual professional, I thrive in both collaborative and client-facing environments, ensuring smooth processes and high-quality results. I look forward to many more years of growth and success with AR Homes, continuing to contribute to our legacy of excellence.
