He has been in the construction industry for over 32 years as a tradesman as well as a project manager for multimillion dollar commercial and residential construction projects. A Certified Green Building Professional, he has served on the board of directors for the Greenville Homebuilders Association.

Alexis has been involved in the real estate industry since 2003, truly perfecting her craft and growing her market knowledge exponentially when working for the Home Builders Association of Greenville. In 2016, Alexis launched her own real estate brokerage with a goal to work hard for her clients. Helping her clients achieve their new home dreams is the most rewarding aspect of her career.

Betsy grew up in North Carolina and has had the pleasure of working in custom residential sales for over 21 years in the Asheville area. She has also held her North Carolina real estate license since 2008. After building her own custom home in 2007 with a “cost plus” builder, Betsy is a true advocate for the AR Homes® process with a fixed cost. Her personal and professional experiences bring a wealth of knowledge to her clients when helping design their dream home.

Betsy has two grown daughters whom she adores. In her spare time, she plays tennis competitively, enjoys power walking and loves yoga.

Melissa, a native of North Carolina, has lived in the Asheville area for 26 years. In addition to her real estate license, Melissa has a background in design consulting for new homes. Melissa loves working with clients to help them design the home of their dreams. Melissa most enjoys spending time with family, and hiking and biking in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.

Kirsten has over 15 years of experience in the design industry. Since starting with AR Homes®, she’s designed over 150 homes. While she is a true planner by nature, her favorite part of the design process is the final installation day. It is often the longest and most chaotic day, but there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a perfect plan come together and a happy client. Kirsten enjoys playing outside with her twin children, traveling and exploring Greenville.

Faye graduated from Appalachian State University in May 2022 with a B.S. in Interior Design. Throughout college, Faye interned for both hospitality and residential design companies, where she fell in love with the interior design process. Faye enjoys being hands-on in the design process and watching clients’ design visions come to life. In her free time, Faye loves to explore the great food, drinks, and entertainment around the Greenville area, as well as appreciate the beautiful outdoors.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Rachel made her way to the south in 2014. She has almost ten years of experience in the home building industry. With a passion for detail and creativity, she enjoys writing up a contract as much as she does the design process. From a young age, Rachel worked hand-in-hand with her father on many home renovation projects. In her free time, you can find Rachel and her husband Brandon exploring the Upstate with their two dogs, Floyd and Clyde.

Sarah Ormand, a Western North Carolina native earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Western Carolina University’s School of Art and Design. An ardent traveler, Sarah gains much of her inspiration from her adventures throughout the world. She has always had a passion for expressive designs, even from a young age she loved exploring spaces and picking out the alluring details. She can now use her knowledge, creative mind, and drive to provide a beautiful, functional, and harmonious space for her clients.

Originally a native from Vermont, Svea has called the mountains of North Carolina her home for the last eight years. Building homes in Western North Carolina has given her the knowledge and experience to work through anything the industry throws at her. Seeing a home come to life from the ground up is an unexplainable feeling that fuels her passion. Recently she passed the requirements for OSHA certification and is enrolled in Construction Management to further her career. A mom of three boys, she enjoys hiking in the summer, and being outdoors with her kids.

Having grown up in a family that owned a construction company in the Highlands, NC area, you could say that Zac has a lifelong love for the residential construction industry. He holds a license for both residential and commercial construction and has served in many leadership positions for Builders Associations throughout North Carolina. Zac has two children with his wife Jama and in his free time enjoys spending time outdoors with family.

Kerry comes to AR Purchasing with over 18 years of Project Management and design/build experience. She truly enjoys working behind the scenes of a company that values passion, integrity, quality, and making dream homes come true for its clients . Kerry resides in Western North Carolina and is married with 3 grown boys. She is hoping for grand children soon but in the meantime enjoys her six dogs and three cats.

Patrick began his career in construction two decades ago. Patrick’s eye for detail as well as his integrity, loyalty and passion for building quality custom luxury homes has been his recipe for success over the years. He and his family relocated to South Carolina and live on a five-acre farm. When Patrick is not busy managing the construction of luxury homes, you can usually find him grilling on his back porch, while enjoying the view of Six Mile Mountain.

Jim is a Chicago native and has spent the last four decades focused on luxury home construction. Jim’s building projects have been recognized by the National Association of Home Builders and have received multiple awards of excellence. He has been featured as the cover story of Midwest Builder Magazine and has had his projects showcased in many of Chicagoland’s local publications. Jim and his wife Rita have been married for over forty years and have enjoyed raising their two daughters. His hobbies include restoration projects and antique cars. He also enjoys playing the drums and hiking.
