He has been in the construction industry for over 32 years as a tradesman as well as a project manager for multimillion dollar commercial and residential construction projects. A Certified Green Building Professional, he has served on the board of directors for the Greenville Homebuilders Association.

Alexis has been involved in the real estate industry since 2003, truly perfecting her craft and growing her market knowledge exponentially when working for the Home Builders Association of Greenville. In 2016, Alexis launched her own real estate brokerage with a goal to work hard for her clients. Helping her clients achieve their new home dreams is the most rewarding aspect of her career.

Zac grew up in a family owned construction business building high end custom homes in the mountains of NE Georgia and western NC. In 2014 he moved his family to the Hendersonville, NC area where he expanded his construction knowledge by managing the homebuilding division for a regional development firm. Zac joined American Eagle Builders in 2018 and has worked in various positions at the company including project manager, purchasing manager, and vice president before being promoted to Building Company President. Zac has been a licensed contractor since 2001 and has held various volunteer leadership positions including president of the Jackson County Home Builders Association, Regional Vice President of the North Carolina Home Builders Association, treasurer of the Highlands Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of the Jackson County Planning Board. His commitment to continuing education and years of experience have also allowed him to be recognized by the North Carolina Licensing Board as an Accredited Master Builder. When not in the office or walking our job sites Zac can be found at the lake or enjoying the outdoors with his wife and 3 children.

Jessica brings more than 20 years of experience in the luxury custom homebuilding industry, where she has helped clients turn their visions into beautifully crafted homes across the Carolinas. Her background spans every aspect of the design-build process, from sales and client relations to operations, marketing, and construction management, giving her a well-rounded perspective that ensures each project runs smoothly from concept to completion. As Building Company Vice President, Jessica works closely with both clients and the internal team to maintain the highest standards of quality and communication. She’s passionate about creating an exceptional experience for every homeowner and fostering strong, lasting relationships built on trust and transparency. Away from work, Jessica loves camping trips and time outdoors with her husband and two children. Life rarely slows down; if she’s not at the baseball field, she’s in the cheer gym, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Betsy grew up in North Carolina and has had the pleasure of working in custom residential sales for over 21 years in the Asheville area. She has also held her North Carolina real estate license since 2008. After building her own custom home in 2007 with a “cost plus” builder, Betsy is a true advocate for the AR Homes® process with a fixed cost. Her personal and professional experiences bring a wealth of knowledge to her clients when helping design their dream home.

Betsy has two grown daughters whom she adores. In her spare time, she plays tennis competitively, enjoys power walking and loves yoga.

Kirsten has over 15 years of experience in the design industry. Since starting with AR Homes®, she’s designed over 150 homes. While she is a true planner by nature, her favorite part of the design process is the final installation day. It is often the longest and most chaotic day, but there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a perfect plan come together and a happy client. Kirsten enjoys playing outside with her twin children, traveling and exploring Greenville.

Sara was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. She has an Interior Design degree from The University of Alabama. After graduating, she moved to Greenville to pursue residential design. She loves 3D rendering, layering the old with the new, and space planning. Outside of the studio, Sara loves watching sports, being outside, and spending time with her family and friends.

Katherine was born and raised in upstate SC and attended Clemson University where she obtained her degree in Management and met her husband. She has over 12 years of experience in construction in multiple different roles. She is an International Code Council certified Building Permit Technician, Zoning Inspector and Property Maintenance and Housing Inspector and has a passion for construction. Katherine has an amazing attention to detail and strives to do what is best for all of her clients. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and fur babies, being involved at her church and attending Clemson football games. She has 2 daughters, one of which is carrying on the tradition of attending Clemson University and the other one is a trainer at her favorite coffee shop.

Joel brings a strong accounting foundation and broad construction-industry experience to his role as Controller. Originally from Ohio, Joel earned his degree in accounting from Bob Jones University and has supported financial operations for both locally owned landscape supply businesses and large-scale highway infrastructure construction companies.  His background in complex construction environments provides a disciplined, detail-driven approach to financial management, cost control, and operational accountability. As Controller, Joel works closely with leadership and project teams to ensure accuracy, transparency, and sound financial processes that support the company’s continued growth and long-term success.  Outside of work, Joel enjoys time with his wife and three children. He is actively involved in coaching youth sports- especially soccer and remains a loyal Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

Erick serves as an Accountant with primary responsibility for Accounts Payable, bringing more than a decade of experience across mortgage, nonprofit, and residential construction accounting. His background includes financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and project-level accounting, supporting accurate and efficient financial operations. Outside of work, Erick enjoys watching sports, spending time with family, and traveling.

Marshal relocated to South Carolina with his family in 2021 after a 21 year long military career. He brings 15 years of project planning and management experience to the position. Marshal’s free time is filled with his own construction projects and spending as much time as he can with his family. Fly Eagles Fly!

Daniel was born and raised between Florida and the upstate of SC. He grew up in the construction field with his father and grandfather building homes. He has spent the last 17 years in construction and management. Everything from residential, commercial, & industrial construction Daniel has an amazing attention to detail and strives to do the best possible for any of his clients. When not at work Daniel spends time with his wife and kids, working on their mini farm.

Doug is an accomplished construction manager with more than 40 years of residential building experience, specializing in luxury custom homes. His career spans oceanfront estates in Palm Beach and Jupiter Island as well as resort communities in the Rocky Mountains and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Doug earned a Certificate in Construction Management from Penn State University and brings deep expertise in project management, scheduling, and coordination. He understands the unique demands of high-end custom homebuilding and is committed to delivering exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and value. Now based in North Carolina, Doug enjoys life near the Smoky Mountains with his wife.

Mike comes from a small New England town in New Hampshire, where he grew up in a construction family learning every facet of construction his father and fellow crews taught him.  Fast forward to 30 years of experience in restoration preservation, custom home builds, remodels and commercial. He made his way to western North Carolina 15 years ago where he fell in love with the mountains and is still loving the view.

With 20 years of experience in construction management, Troy is a seasoned professional known for his exceptional leadership and project execution skills. Troy seamlessly blends his professional expertise with a passion for cycling, often finding inspiration and balance in the sport. Outside of his career, his is devoted to his family, cherishing quality time with loved ones. Whether navigating complex construction projects or cycling through scenic routes, Troy’s commitment and enthusiasm shine through in every aspect of his life.

Marc brings more than 25 years of experience in custom home construction, having built high-quality homes since 1999. Originally from New York, Marc’s career has taken him across Arizona and North Carolina before he ultimately put down roots in the Upstate of South Carolina. Known for his calm, steady approach, Marc is a trusted presence on every jobsite. He values clear communication, thoughtful problem-solving, and consistency throughout the building process, helping homeowners feel confident from start to finish. Marc has been married for 27 years and is the proud father of four and grandfather of three, though he will be quick to tell you he is no old man. Outside of work, you will often find him enjoying NASCAR, camping, and spending time with his family.
