Bruce Pasquarella

Franchise Owner & Building Company President

Ask Bruce what distinguishes his company from other custom luxury home builders, and he doesn’t hesitate. “I’m a hands-on builder with attention to detail. Our project management team is at the job site every day. We work hard at building good, lasting relationships with clients by delivering a quality project and providing prompt, courteous service from the design stage through post-occupancy services.”

He has been in the construction industry for over 37 years as a tradesman as well as a project manager for multimillion dollar commercial and residential construction projects. A Certified Green Building Professional, he has served on the board of directors for the Greenville Homebuilders Association.

Alexis Pasquarella

Broker In Charge, American Eagle Realty

Alexis has been involved in the real estate industry since 2003, truly perfecting her craft and growing her market knowledge exponentially when working for the Home Builders Association of Greenville. In 2016, Alexis launched her own real estate brokerage with a goal to work hard for her clients. Helping her clients achieve their new home dreams is the most rewarding aspect of her career.

Lissa Lipsey

Sales Consultant

Lissa is grateful to have participated in the Carolina‘s luxury real estate market for almost 30 years.  With a genuine love of the land, custom design, and building process, she takes great satisfaction in finding the perfect fit for discerning clients at AR Homes®. The incredible growth of the area’s custom home market in the upstate lake and mountain communities has allowed Lissa to help families create their custom dream home. She and her husband Paul consider their four adult daughters and grandchildren their greatest gifts. In their spare time, they enjoy travel, food and wine, great friends, and church fellowship.

Sara Latawiec

Sales Associate

Originally from Michigan, Sara spent seven years of her childhood in Tokyo, Japan. She now resides outside of Downtown Greenville after graduating from Clemson University with a degree in Management, BS. Sara worked for several locations at The Cliffs before starting her career at AR Homes and loves the lake region. In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Austin, and their two dogs, River and Sushi.

Kirsten Gilliam

Interior Designer

Kirsten has over 15 years of experience in the design industry. Since starting with AR Homes®, she’s designed over 150 homes. While she is a true planner by nature, her favorite part of the design process is the final installation day. It is often the longest and most chaotic day, but there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a perfect plan come together and a happy client. Kirsten enjoys playing outside with her twin children, traveling and exploring Greenville.

Penny Sweatman

Project Coordinator

Penny has been in the construction industry for over 35 years.  She has always loved being involved in projects from the concept stage to the final items being marked off the list.  This means you can find her anywhere from the garage using a propane torch to giving scrap wood that special look.  She wants everyone satisfied with the outcome of any project she is involved with no matter how small or big.  She is a Nana to her six grandkids and loves spending time with them and teaching them new things.

Jack Maxwell

Project Coordinator

Jack brings to the Project Coordinator position a diverse range of experience. He has worked in construction, sales and mortgage banking. He and his family relocated to the Upstate of South Carolina several years ago to escape the heat, humidity and traffic of Houston, Texas.  When not at work, Jack enjoys reading, listening to music, playing tennis and golf (whenever time permits), learning to play guitar and exploring the area’s attractions and history with his wife and two sons.

Brian Carmack

Brian Carmack comes to the company with over 25 years of corporate accounting experience in manufacturing, construction, technology, and real estate.  He has earned both a BA and an MBA in his field.  While earning his degrees he worked as a finish carpenter specializing in custom woodworking and cabinetry.  Brian and his wife Kathy live in Williamston, SC. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling and spoiling their two granddaughters.

Patrick Bush

Senior Construction Manager

Patrick began his career in construction two decades ago. Patrick’s eye for detail as well as his integrity, loyalty and passion for building quality custom luxury homes has been his recipe for success over the years. He and his family relocated to South Carolina and live on a five-acre farm. When Patrick is not busy managing the construction of luxury homes, you can usually find him grilling on his back porch, while enjoying the view of Six Mile Mountain.

Thomas Martin

Construction Manager

Tom started his career in Greenville on a framing crew while he was in college. He moved into construction management a few years later. Before joining the AR Homes® team, he owned his own construction and renovation company for eight years. He and his wife met at church and have three beautiful teenage daughters.

Patrick Gray

Construction Manager

Pat Gray has been in the construction industry since he started as a carpenters helper on a commercial shopping center project in Birmingham, AL in 1993. His experience includes commercial projects, health care projects, multi-family housing projects, paving and grading, and his personal favorite, residential. Pat has loved building things his entire life. He entered Auburn University in the Architecture program, but soon realized that putting buildings together and understanding the business of construction was where his passion lay. He graduated from Auburn with a BS in Business Management in 1999. Pat has been building or renovating homes  since 2011. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his three children and enjoys leading a Scout troop as Scoutmaster in Greenville, SC.

Custom Home Builder Testimonial

We value every client and trade partner relationship we have established over the years. Below is just a sample of what people have to say about building with American Eagle Builders.

Custom Sierra Great room with white sectional, fireplace and flatscreen next to custom outdoor living area with fireplace

“We are building in the Cliffs at Mountain Park. When we were in the process of selecting a lot (prior to selecting a builder), Bruce took his time to visit several lots with me to give me his input as to grading and foundation costs for each lot. This was very helpful in making a decision regarding the lot. Once we selected American Eagle to build for us the experience has been great. We currently live in Raleigh so having trust and confidence in the builder and the on-site people is critical since we can’t be involved on a day to day basis. I have been able to visit the site every few weeks and have been pleased with the quality of work and attention to detail. Again, trust is important when you can’t see what goes on one a day-to-day basis, and I have complete trust in Dean Sibley who has been on site from the beginning.

The materials selection process has also been a good experience. Roxanne has been excellent in tracking selections and change orders.

We are about 4 weeks from completion and I have nothing but good things to say about our experience.”
