Duane is a member of the Forbes Real Estate Council and the owner and executive vice president of GenTech Construction, LLC. In 2007, he was the recipient of the Chattanooga & Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year. He has served on the executive board to establish building construction programs at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and Chattanooga State. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Georgia Institute of Technology.
