The Beshears Custom Deer Valley

The Beshear family loved the Deer Valley floor plan from AR Homes®, but they wanted to make some changes to make it their own.

On the main level, they expanded the entry porch to make it more welcoming. They also removed the den and expanded the pantry to create more storage space. The kitchen was also expanded, with a bigger island for cooking and prep.

In the owner’s suite, the Beshears reoriented the layout to expand the closet. They also added a guest suite on the main level, which was perfect for guests to have some privacy. The porch was also expanded to create a more spacious outdoor living space.

On the lower level, the Beshears expanded the rec room and added a wet bar. They also added a finished flex space and laundry room. The unfinished space was turned into a bunk room and a mechanical room.

Overall, the Beshears’ custom home has 1,686 square feet more living space than the base floor plan. They are very happy with the changes they made, and they love their new home.
